Description
Teams start with just a frame and tools. What follows is a dynamic programme in which all participants remain involved until the end to strive for the best possible end result. Bike parts are acquired through strategic purchasing and negotiation. Then part of the team gets to work on the parts, bolts and nuts, while others tackle our brainteasers to earn accessories. At the end of this event, participants test the bikes. Under the watchful eye of all participants, the lap of honour follows and the winning team receives an original prize.
With Build a Bike for Africa, you are building for a good cause: we have a partnership with the Tools to Work foundation (ANBI recognised, www.toolstowork.nl) from Teteringen. The foundation provides 1 bicycle per team of 6 people. You donate 100 euro per bicycle, which the foundation uses to send bicycles and other goods to projects in Africa. Of course, we will be happy to give you more information about this.
At Build a Bike for Africa, there are only winners. Rightly a top outing with a good feeling and extremely suitable as a teambuilding activity!
