Working with our breath, facing the elements, and meditating our way through stressful events, we will learn powerful techniques for self-regulation, introspection, and resilience.
With the conscious implementation of different breathing patterns, we are able to directly regulate our autonomous nervous system, and with that, our stress levels.
This way, we can use breathing techniques to improve our sleep, focus, and mental well-being.
While there is a whole list of scientific benefits on refining your breathing patterns and taking a cold plunge, the heart of the workshop is about moving out of your comfort zone and facing difficulty together.
During the 3-hour workshop:
- You will experience the power of your breath through a 30-40min breathwork journey
- You will learn how to adjust your breathing to regulate stress levels in the moment and for everyday (work) life through breathing exercises and techniques.
- All exercises and experiences will be backed up with intuitive biology drawing from neuroscience (background of the facilitator)
- You will learn to stay calm and even at ease amidst stress through taking an icebath.
- You will form new connections to sharing your experiences with each other, and supporting each other through challenge.
